Our adventure begins with a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a helicopter ride over the vast Alaskan wilderness to the breathtaking Knik Glacier. You'll step out onto ancient ice, wander past turquoise-blue glacier tide pools, and feel the surreal beauty of this remote landscape unfold beneath your feet. It's the kind of moment that lingers long after you return—and the perfect way to kick off this unforgettable escape.

From there, we trade the sky for the road, traveling deep into Wrangell-St. Elias National Park toward the off-grid community of McCarthy. With just around 100 year-round residents, this tiny town is surrounded by towering mountains, glacial rivers, and endless silence. It’s wild, rugged, and utterly real.

Our home base will be a private glamping site designed for both comfort and connection. Picture canvas tents with real beds, riverside views, a community fire pit, and the sound of nature all around. You’ll experience the rhythm of life in the wilderness—where cell service disappears, and the moments that matter most come clearly into focus.

We’ll raft glacial-fed rivers, fly over untouched terrain by bush plane, and explore the ghost town of Kennecott, where a 14-story wooden mill stands frozen in time. Every piece of this trip is designed for connection—between father and son, between humans and nature, and between who we are and who we’re becoming.
